Dora Amorim

Dora Amorim (Recife – Brasil) é sócia da Ponte Produtoras e trabalha como produtora audiovisual desde 2010. Formada em Jornalismo pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, atuou também como Jornalista da Revista Continente e do Jornal do Commercio. Com a Ponte produziu os longas-metragens A SEITA, de André Antônio, CAMOCIM, de Quentin Delaroche, BLOQUEIO de Victória Álvares e Quentin Delarche, DEUS TEM AIDS, de Fábio Leal e Gustavo Vinagre e RIO DOCE, de Fellipe Fernandes. Nos últimos anos, participou de importantes festivais nacionais (Brasília FF, Rio IFF, Mostra de SP) e internacionais (Semana da Crítica de Cannes, Winterthur IFF, Chicago IFF, Rotterdam IFF, Locarno FF) com os curtas e longas da Ponte. Atualmente está finalizando os filmes NOVEMBRO, de Milena Times, e SALOMÉ, de André Antônio, que são produções da Ponte. É também diretora de produção do Janela Internacional de Cinema do Recife, um dos festivais com mais prestígio do País. Também colabora com Emilie Lesclaux e Kleber Mendonça Filho na Cinemascópio Produções. Trabalhou como produtora executiva do filme AQUARIUS (Competição Oficial do Festival de Cannes - 2016), dirigido por Kleber Mendonça Filho, BACURAU (Competição Oficial do Festival de Cannes - 2019), dirigido por Kleber Mendonça Filho e Juliano Dornelles, e RETRATOS FANTASMAS (Competição Oficial do Festival de Cannes - 2023), de Kleber Mendonça Filho e dos filmes em finalização OS PEIXES DORMEM DE OLHOS ABERTOS?, de Nele Wohlatz e SEM CORAÇÃO, de Nara Normande e Tião. Recentemente começou uma parceria com a produtora paulista Glaz e assinou a produção executiva de projetos da Netflix, Galeria Filmes e Globo. Dora Amorim já participou de importantes laboratórios e mercados como Cine Mundi (Brasil), BRLab (Brasil), LoboLab (Argentina), Torino Film Lab (Itália), Marché du Filme (França). Em 2021 fez parte do Programa Berlinale Talents como Produtora.

Júlia Machado

Júlia Machado (1987) was born in Recife. She graduated from the Federal University of Sergipe, UFS, where she studied Audiovisual and from the Catholic University of Pernambuco (UNICAP), where she studied Public Relations. She has been working as a film producer since 2009 and is a partner of Ponte Produtoras, a company that exists in Recife since 2015, and that recently released in the commercial circuit the feature film "Rio Doce", directed by Fellipe Fernandes, which was awarded at Olhar de Cinema, in which it won the Olhar Award for Best Film and Best Brazilian Feature Film Award in the Competitive Shows, Other Looks and New Looks, at the Rio Film Festival, at Première Brasil Novos Rumos and at the 34th Toulouse Latin American Film Festival, in which it won the FIPRESCI award. They also commercially released "God Has AIDS" by Fábio Leal and Gustavo Vinagre, which won Best Film at Queer Porto. From September 2022 to February 2023, the Bridge finished filming Milena Times' first feature film "November" and "Salomé", directed by André Antônio. Julia Machado also signs the production of the short films "Swinguerra" directed by Barbara Wagner and Benjamin De Burca, which had its premiere at the Locarno Film Festival (Switzerland) in 2019 and "Tempestade" directed by Fellipe Fernandes which had its premiere at the Tiradentes Film Festival (MG - Brazil) in 2019. In addition to signing the production direction of the short films "Delirium is the Redemption of the Aflitos" directed by Fellipe Fernandes that had its premiere at the Critic's Week of the Cannes Film Festival (France) in 2016 and "The Day Porter" directed by Fábio Leal. She was also part of the executive team of the feature film "Bacurau" directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dornelles. She integrated, from 2009 to 2019, the production team of the International Janela Film Festival of Recife, one of the most prestigious in the country. Still in the area of festivals, she produced the second edition of the International Film Festival of Filmmakers - FINCAR and two editions of the International University Film Festival of Pernambuco - MOV. She has already participated in the important development lab BRLab and is currently developing with Ayla de Oliveira the script "Noite Laranja", contemplated in the Edict of the Audiovisual Incentive Law of the state of Pernambuco. Júlia and Ayla are partners in the short film "Viver Distrai", directed by Ayla de Oliveira, where Júlia debuts as scriptwriter and also signs as producer and executive producer. The two are about to shoot the short film "Guél Boy", where Ayla assumes the direction and Julia the production and executive production.

Thaís Vidal

Thaís Vidal

Thaís Vidal (1990) is a screenwriter, producer, director and film academic. Master in Audiovisual Screenwriting (2021) from the International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. Graduated in Journalism (2012), UFPE and also Master in Urban Planning (2017), she is currently pursuing her PhD in Cinema (2020-2024) from the same institution. In 2014, she released her first short film as script writer and director, the documentary Fora da Ordem (Out of Order) which screened when she participated in the programme Recife: The Playable City, which brought together producers, artists and technologists from Recife and Bristol (UK) that year. In 2015, he co-founded Ponte Produtoras. Her first feature-length screenplay, Absence Sensor, is in development, has co-production by Vitrine Filmes and was initiated in Cuba and advised by important names from EICTV, such as Maite Bermudez, Arturo Arango, Iana Cossoy Paro, Camila Agostini, Xenia Rivery, Frank Baiz. Thaís is producer and executive producer of feature films released by Ponte and was also Executive Production Coordinator of Bacurau (Kléber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dorneles, 2019). For her creative performance, she was invited to the Creative Production Workshop at La Fémis School, France, in 2019, taught by French producer Juliette Grandmont and held by Paradiso Project and partnership with La Fémis, in Rio de Janeiro. Thaís is part of the Paradiso Talent Network. In her trajectory, she has participated in important labs such as Lobo Lab (2016), BR LAB (2017, 2018, 2021) and the main film markets such as Marché du Film (2016, 2023) and Berlinale (2021, 2023). She was for four years artistic director of MOV - International University Film Festival (2014 to 2019) and producer of the Festival Janela Internacional de Cinema (2012 to 2019). She has acted politically in the audiovisual as a Member of the elected collegiate Directory of ABD/APECI-PE (2020, 2021). She is the organizer of the book Cinemas and universities - converging divergences (2018), with Laécio Ricardo and Txai Ferraz and reviewer of the Obituary of Pernambuco Cinema (2019), written by Rodrigo Almeida. In 2021, she launched the first edition of her ebook Cultural Policies and Urban Marketing, in addition to teaching experiences in recent years, teaching courses in project development. In 2022, she was Jury of the Mostra Gaúcha for shorts at Gramado Film Festival and collaborated in the script of the feature Edificantes with the director Marcelo Lordello, which will be shot in 2023. She was Script Consultant for the Feature Salomé, written by André Antonio, film in editing for which she is also producer. She was part of the curatorship of the FRAPA Screenplay Competition and still being part of the jury in the 2023 edition of the Competition. Between productions and development of her own projects, in 2023, she co-wrote an independent project with the brazilians director and actress Elen Clarice and the director Gabriela Boeri.
